Springville, population about 2,000, is a town out of the past. The old store fronts are so unique that scenes of the movie "Vern Miller," set in the 30s, were shot here. The town is easily accessible from Interstate 59.

- Allison-Kirkland Building, probably built in 1892, is the House of Quilts
- Masonic Lodge, circa 1860, houses a museum and the town library
- Woodall Building, circa 1880, is one of the oldest known hardware stores
